David Hoenemeyer was named Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Seminole Gaming in November, 2018. As COO, David works with senior vice presidents to lead continued brand quality, financial success, and service standards. He also directs Seminole casino presidents and general managers to oversee day-to-day operations of seven Seminole Gaming casinos in Florida. These include Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee, Seminole Casino Brighton, Seminole Big Cypress and Seminole Classic Casino in Hollywood.
In October 2019, David celebrated two Grand Openings resulting from a $2.4 billion expansion program at the Seminole Hard Rock Casinos in Tampa and Hollywood, FL. He continues to oversee operations at the world-class Guitar Hotel integrated resort complex.
Hoenemeyer joined Seminole Gaming from Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas, where he was regional president of three Caesars Entertainment Casinos. During his two decades at Caesars Entertainment, Hoenemeyer served as assistant general manager and then general manager and president of several of the company’s Las Vegas casinos. He began his career in 1984 with Hilton Hotels and worked at multiple casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas before joining Caesars Entertainment in 1998.
Hoenemeyer is a 1984 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. In Florida, he is an active member of the Orange Bowl Committee and College Football Playoff National Championship Host Committee. David is married to Erin and has three grown daughters: Lauren, Caroline and Julia.
